Cornish Roseland Cottages - Conditions |
|
Booking Conditions 1. Bookings should be accompanied by £50 deposit per week booked. If a booking is made less than 8 weeks before the holiday commences, then the full rent is due at the time of booking. 2. Once the booking form is received and accepted, the clients are liable for payment of the balance of the rent 8 weeks before the holiday. 3. Lettings commence at 3.30 pm on the first day of the tenancy and end at 10 am on the day of departure. Under no circumstances may more people or pets other than those notified to the owner occupy the property. 4. The client undertakes to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition. 5. If for any reason beyond the owner’s control (eg fire/water damage) the property is not available on the date booked, payments will be refunded in full but the client shall have no further claim. 6. If the booking is cancelled for any reason within 8 weeks of the holiday, the client will remain legally liable to pay the full balance. The owner will make every effort to re-let the property and, if successful, the client will not be liable for the balance. The client is urged to take out insurance against the possibility of cancellation. 7. Acceptance of a reservation by Cornish Roseland Cottages confers on the client(s) the right to occupy the property for a holiday within the meaning of Section 9 of the Rent Act 1977. 8. When pets are accepted, clients will be liable for all additional costs of repairs, replacements and extra cleaning resulting from their pets. Under no circumstances may a pet be left alone in the cottage. 9. Any complaints must be notified immediately, so that on-the-spot remedial action can be taken if necessary. In no circumstances will compensation be made for complaints made after the tenancy has ended. 10. If the client fails to observe any of these conditions, the owner has the right to require the client to vacate the property at once without any compensation. |
